Job summary

Dataminr is seeking a Senior Sales Engineer to act as the technical expert for CISOs, SOC teams, and threat-intel analysts. You will lead discovery, demos, and proofs of value, collaborating with Account Executives and Product teams.

This is a remote role for candidates based in the North Eastern US. You will drive deep-dive architecture discussions, deliver engaging demos and POV workshops, and design integrated security ecosystems with Python-based integrations.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in a customer-facing SE or similar role.
• 7+ years cybersecurity experience in SOC/Threat Intel/IR.
• Strong knowledge of MITRE ATT&CK and threat intel.
• Experience with SIEM, SOAR, EDR/XDR, and cloud security.
• Familiarity with Python, Java, and APIs for integrations.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical sales discussions with enterprise customers.
• Deliver tailored demos and POV workshops.
• Advise on SOC workflows, threat intel, and incident response.
• Design integrated security ecosystems and API integrations.
• Translate enterprise challenges into automated solution designs.
• Stay ahead of threats and competitors to position platform.
