Job summary

Robinhood is seeking a Senior Software Engineer for AI Security to build a scalable, security‑first AI platform. You will develop core services, APIs, and tooling to enable security teams to deploy AI agents and protect data across large, distributed systems.

You will work with security and engineering teams to integrate identity, authentication, authorization, and encryption into scalable infrastructure, while solving complex engineering problems and guiding platform direction.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of software development experience.
• Experience building large-scale distributed systems with security in mind.
• Experience with AI platforms or production AI systems is a plus.
• Strong production debugging and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Design and build a scalable AI platform for security teams.
• Develop platform services, APIs, libraries, and SDKs for AI integration.
• Create secure systems with identity, authentication, authorization, encryption controls.
• Build and operate large distributed systems supporting AI security use cases.
• Develop guardrails to safely run AI agents and automated workflows.
• Collaborate with security, infra, and engineering teams to translate needs into platform capabilities.
• Improve platform performance, reliability, and developer experience through automation.
• Help shape technical direction of the AI Security platform as it scales.
