Job summary

Robinhood is seeking a Staff Software Engineer for its AI Security team, based in Menlo Park, CA, and Bellevue, WA. You will design and build a scalable AI security platform, creating platform services, APIs, and SDKs, while embedding strong identity, authentication, authorization, and encryption controls.

You will partner with security and infrastructure teams to translate user needs into reusable platform capabilities, affecting security at scale across Robinhood’s AI initiatives.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of software development experience.
• 6+ years building large-scale distributed systems with security considerations.
• Experience building AI platforms or AI-enabled security systems.

Responsibilities

• Design scalable AI platform and security primitives.
• Build platform services, APIs, libraries and SDKs.
• Ensure secure design with identity, authentication, authorization, encryption.
• Collaborate with security and engineering teams to translate needs into reusable platform capabilities.
