Job summary

Biogen is seeking an AI Security Engineer to safeguard AI/ML deployments from training to inference across cloud environments. You will design, implement, and operate security controls for AI workloads, ensuring resilience against adversarial threats while enabling rapid innovation.

The role requires deep expertise in AI/ML security, cloud and application security, and hands-on tooling development. You will collaborate with data science and security teams to translate threat intel into concrete

Qualifications

• Hands-on cybersecurity/AI engineering experience.
• Experience with AI/ML security threats: prompt injection, data poisoning, model manipulation.
• Knowledge of MITRE ATLAS, OWASP AI Top 10, NIST AI RMF.
• Proficiency in Python and building production security tooling.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and operate AI threat detection & response capabilities.
• Maintain AI security monitoring pipelines across AI workloads and endpoints.
• Develop automated response playbooks for AI security incidents.
• Implement security controls across AI development and deployment platforms (SageMaker, Azure OpenAI, Databricks).
