Job summary

Biogen, Inc. is seeking a Sr. Engineer, AI Cyber Security to secure AI/ML deployments across the enterprise.

You will design, implement, and operate AI security controls spanning model development pipelines, inference endpoints, and training data protection. The role requires deep technical proficiency across AI/ML security, cloud security, and application security, with hands-on production tooling and automation.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of combined experience in cybersecurity engineering, software engineering, and/or AI/ML systems.
• Demonstrated expertise in at least three domains: AI/ML Security, Cloud Security, Application Security, Security Operations.
• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Data Science, or related technical field.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and operate AI threat detection & response engineering for AI-specific threats.
• Develop and maintain AI security monitoring pipelines across LLM interactions, API gateways, and model endpoints.
• Engineer automated response playbooks for AI security incidents including model quarantine and token revocation.
• Research AI attack vectors and translate findings into detection signatures and prevention controls.
• Operate security controls across AI development platforms (AWS SageMaker, Azure OpenAI, Databricks).
