Job summary

Anthropic is hiring a Senior Software Security Engineer to protect AI systems and secure our training infrastructure. You will work across identity, secrets, and secure frameworks, shaping authentication, encryption, and workload security in a multi-cloud and on-prem environment.

You will design secure development practices, improve CI/CD security, and lead efforts to remediate vulnerabilities. Strong coding skills in Python and one systems language are essential for this role.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of software engineering experience in security-relevant systems.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
• Strong programming skills in Python or Go or Rust.
• Experience contributing to cloud security controls.
• Ability to own problems end to end, from issue to fix.
• Clear communication and collaboration across teams.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain identity and secrets management across multi-cloud environments.
• Contribute to cluster security controls including RBAC and pod security.
• Implement cloud security controls including IAM, network segmentation, and encryption.
• Design secure development frameworks and libraries for teams.
• Harden CI/CD pipelines against supply chain attacks.
• Identify and remediate security gaps through threat modeling and debugging.
