Job summary

Interra Health is seeking an AI Security Engineer to join the Security Engineering team. This hands-on role secures AI/ML models, data pipelines, and AI-enabled applications across a regulated healthcare environment.

You will lead security assessments, embed threat modeling into the AI development lifecycle, build guardrails and detection controls, and collaborate with Engineering and Data & Analytics to bake security into how AI is designed and shipped.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in security engineering or related field.
• 5+ years in security engineering or application security.
• Hands-on experience securing AI/ML systems or LLM-based apps.

Responsibilities

• Lead security assessments of AI/ML models, data pipelines, and AI-enabled apps.
• Embed security requirements and threat modeling into the AI development lifecycle.
• Build and maintain guardrails, monitoring, and detection controls for AI systems in production.
• Review third-party AI tools and vendors before integration.
• Lead incident response for AI-related security events.
• Advise on secure, responsible use of AI and data handling practices.
