Job summary

Samsara Inc. is building a senior role at the intersection of security engineering and applied AI. You will be the most AI-forward technologist on our Application Security team, using frontier AI models to uncover vulnerabilities across cloud, software, and firmware before attackers do.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in application security or related field.
• Hands-on experience building AI or agentic workflows for security.
• Experience in security assessments across software and hardware/firmware.

Responsibilities

• Deliver accurate security assessments of software, code, and firmware against AI-driven attacks.
• Translate AI security findings into Samsara-specific fixes for AppSec.
• Find AI-specific and traditional vulnerabilities (e.g., injection, IDOR) using AI-driven validation.
• Build and validate AI-enabled security tooling and workflows; drive adoption across security org.
• Benchmark frontier models for security tasks and define release criteria and guardrails.
• Support AppSec triage and may participate in bug bounty including hardware scope.
• Partner with engineering, hardware, and leadership; present findings to executives.
