Job summary

Samsara is building a new AI security-focused role within its AppSec team. You will apply frontier AI models to assess vulnerabilities in cloud, software, and firmware, shaping Samsara's AI security strategy and guardrails.

Open to US candidates beyond select metros, with a flexible remote-working model. You will lead offensive validation, translate findings to actionable fixes, and drive adoption of AI-enabled security tooling across engineering and leadership.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in application security and vulnerability management.
• Hands-on experience building AI/agentic security workflows.
• Experience evaluating security across software and hardware/firmware.
• Proficiency with GoLang, Github and AWS for security apps.

Responsibilities

• Deliver AI-forward security assessments of Samsara's software and firmware.
• Translate AI security findings into Samsara-specific fixes.
• Identify AI-specific and traditional vulnerabilities using AI-driven validation.
• Build AI-enabled security tools and drive adoption across the security org.
• Support vulnerability triage and bug bounty programs, including hardware scope.
• Partner cross-functionally with engineering, hardware, and leadership to present findings.
