Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in application security, vulnerability management, threat modeling, offensive security, or related discipline.
• Hands-on experience applying AI/LLM tools to security workflows, including automation and integration.
• Experience conducting security assessments across software and hardware/firmware environments.
• Experience creating secure code solutions with engineers using GoLang.
• Experience developing AI and agentic solutions using Github and AWS cloud.

Responsibilities

• Deliver accurate security assessments of Samsara's software, code, and firmware against AI-driven attacks and implement fixes.
• Translate AI security findings into Samsara-specific fixes for application security, adapting techniques to hardware/embedded firmware.
• Build and pressure-test AI-enabled security tooling and drive adoption across the security org.
• Partner with engineering, hardware, and leadership as the go-to expert on AI-related security risk.
• Help define and drive Samsara's strategy for safe and effective AI adoption in security operations.
• Use frontier AI/LLM tools hands-on for offensive validation and defensive tooling; integrate AI-enabled systems.
• Champion Samsara’s cultural principles within a growing, global team.
