Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. is seeking a Senior Director AI Security to establish and mature the enterprise AI Security program. Reporting to the CIO, this leader will develop strategy to secure AI technologies while enabling responsible innovation across the enterprise.

The role oversees governance, risk, regulatory compliance, and secure adoption of AI, including LLMs, generative AI, and AI platforms. A high-performing team will be recruited and led to execute the vision.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in computerscience, Information Security, Engineering, Data Science or related field.
• Master's Degree in Computer Science, Information Security, Engineering, Data Science or related field (Preferred).
• 10 years or more in Progressive cybersecurity leadership.
• 3 years or more in experience designing, implementing, and securing AI/ML.
• 2 years or more in experience in AWS, GCP and/or Azure cloud computing security configuration and management.
• 2 years or more in experience in application security with an emphasis on AI/ML.
• 5 years or more in leading security architecture or engineering organizations.
• Knowledge of NIST AI RMF and RMF frameworks.
• Knowledge of CSF/ISO standards and OWASP GenAI Security Project.
• CSSLP/CISSP/CCSP certifications (preferred/required).

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute the enterprise AI Security strategy and multi-year roadmap.
• Establish AI security standards, policies, and secure development requirements.
• Lead AI security risk management including model governance and third-party assessments.
• Build and lead the AI Security organization including hiring and budgeting.
• Partner with tech and business leaders to securely enable AI adoption.
• Oversee AI security architecture reviews and security assessments.
• Monitor AI threats and regulatory developments and adapt strategy.
