Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. is seeking a Senior Director AI Security to establish and mature the enterprise AI Security program.

The leader will govern strategy, risk management, and secure adoption of AI technologies across the enterprise while partnering with Legal, Privacy, Risk, and Business leadership. The role will recruit and develop a high-performing AI security team of architects and engineers, align with C-suite objectives, and oversee security reviews and regulatory compliance for AI

Qualifications

• Deep understanding of LLMs, generative AI, and model lifecycle.
• Strong knowledge of data privacy, model governance, and adversarial AI/ML.
• Proven ability to inject cybersecurity into business through teamwork and influence.
• High level of integrity and professionalism in leadership roles.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute enterprise AI Security strategy, operating model, governance framework, and multi-year roadmaps.
• Establish enterprise AI security standards, policies, reference architectures, and secure development requirements.
• Lead AI security risk management including model governance, third-party assessments, AI inventory, threat modeling, and regulatory compliance.
• Build and lead the AI Security organization including hiring, mentoring, budgeting, strategic planning, and execution.
• Partner with technology, architecture, legal, privacy, procurement, and business leaders to securely enable enterprise AI adoption.
• Oversee AI security architecture reviews, secure design approvals, and security assessments for AI initiatives.
• Monitor emerging AI threats and regulatory developments; adjust strategy accordingly.
