Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. seeks a Senior Director AI Security to establish and mature the enterprise AI Security program. Reporting to the CISO, this leader will develop strategies to secure AI technologies while enabling responsible innovation across the enterprise.

The role oversees governance, risk management, and secure adoption of AI, including Generative AI, LLMs, and ML platforms. This leader will recruit and lead a high-performing AI security team and collaborate with executives and business

Qualifications

• 10+ years in progressive cybersecurity leadership.
• 3+ years designing, implementing, and securing AI/ML.
• 2+ years AWS, GCP, or Azure cloud security configuration and mgmt.
• 2+ years in security with emphasis on AI/ML.
• 5+ years leading security architecture or engineering teams.
• Knowledge of NIST RMF, NIST AI RMF, ISO standards, OWASP GenAI.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute enterprise AI Security strategy, governance, and multi-year roadmap.
• Establish AI security standards, policies, and secure development requirements.
• Lead AI security risk management including model governance and regulatory compliance.
• Build and lead the AI Security organization, including hiring and budgeting.
• Partner with tech, legal, privacy, procurement, and business leaders to enable secure AI adoption.
• Oversee AI security architecture reviews and security assessments.
• Monitor AI threats and regulatory developments; adjust strategy accordingly.
