Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. seeks a Senior Director AI Security to lead and mature the enterprise AI Security program, reporting to the Chief Information Security Officer.

This role defines the strategy for securing AI technologies while enabling responsible innovation across the organization. You will recruit and guide a high-performing team of AI security architects, engineers, and specialists, establish governance, risk management, and regulatory compliance, and partner with business and technology

Qualifications

• 10+ years in progressive cybersecurity leadership.
• 3+ years designing, implementing, and securing AI/ML.
• 2+ years in cloud security with AWS, GCP, or Azure.
• 2+ years in application security with an emphasis on AI/ML.
• 5+ years leading security architecture or engineering teams.
• Knowledge of NIST RMF/CSF, ISO 27001, and related AI security standards.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute enterprise AI Security strategy and multi-year roadmap.
• Establish AI security standards, policies, and secure development requirements.
• Lead AI security risk management and regulatory compliance.
• Build and lead the AI Security organization including hiring and budgeting.
• Partner with executives to enable secure AI adoption.
• Oversee AI security architecture reviews and security assessments.
• Monitor emerging AI threats and adjust strategy.
