Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. seeks a Senior Director AI Security to lead the enterprise AI security program and mature governance across the organization. Reporting to the CISO, you will develop strategy, manage risk, and enable secure AI adoption at scale.

You will recruit and lead a high-performing team of AI security architects, engineers, and specialists, partnering with Legal, Privacy, Technology, and business leaders to balance innovation with security and compliance.

Qualifications

• LLMs, generative AI, and model lifecycle understanding required.
• Experience in securing AI/ML systems and governance.
• Strong knowledge of data privacy and risk management frameworks.
• Ability to influence business through cybersecurity initiatives.
• Proven leadership in large security programs.
• CISSP or equivalent certification desired.
• Experience with AI/ML security and cloud security controls.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute enterprise AI Security strategy, governance, and multi-year roadmap.
• Establish enterprise AI security standards, policies, and reference architectures.
• Lead AI security risk management including model governance and regulatory compliance.
• Build and lead the AI Security organization including hiring, budgeting, and planning.
• Partner with technology, legal, privacy, and business leaders to enable secure AI adoption.
• Oversee AI security reviews, secure design approvals, and security assessments.
• Monitor AI threats and regulatory developments to update strategy.
