Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. seeks a Senior Director of AI Security to establish and mature the enterprise AI security program. You will lead governance, risk management, and secure adoption of AI technologies while aligning with business objectives.

Reporting to the CIO, you will recruit and mentor a high-performing team of AI security architects, engineers, and specialists, coordinating with Legal, Privacy, and Risk Management to ensure secure innovation.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field; required.
Master’s degree preferred.
10+ years of progressive cybersecurity leadership; required.
3+ years designing, implementing AI/ML security; required.
2+ years cloud security configuration in AWS/GCP/Azure; required.
2+ years in AI/ML application security; required.
5+ years leading security architecture or engineering teams; required.
Demonstrated project management and multitasking skills; advanced.
Familiar with NIST RMF/CSF and related standards; advanced.
CISSP required upon hire; etc.

Responsibilities

Develop and execute enterprise AI Security strategy and roadmap.
Establish security standards, policies, and reference architectures for AI.
Lead AI security risk management, model governance, and regulatory compliance.
Build and lead AI Security organization including hiring and budgeting.
Collaborate with tech, legal, privacy, procurement, and business leaders to enable secure AI adoption.
Oversee AI security reviews, design approvals, and security assessments.
Monitor AI threats and regulatory developments; adjust strategy accordingly.
Represent Information Security on AI governance committees.
