Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. is seeking a Senior Director of AI Security to establish and mature the enterprise AI Security program. This executive will drive governance, standards, and risk management for AI technologies across the organization, reporting to the CISO.

The role leads a team of AI security architects, engineers, and specialists and collaborates with Legal, Privacy, and Business leaders to securely enable AI adoption while maintaining compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in computerscience, information security, engineering, data science or related field.
• 10+ years Progressive cybersecurity leadership experience.
• 3+ years designing, implementing, and securing AI/ML.

Responsibilities

• Develop enterprise AI Security strategy, operating model, governance framework, and multi-year roadmap.
• Establish AI security standards, policies, reference architectures, and secure development requirements.
• Lead AI security risk management including model governance, third-party assessments, AI inventory, threat modeling, and regulatory compliance.
• Build and lead the AI Security organization including hiring, mentoring, budgeting, and execution.
• Partner with tech, architecture, engineering, legal, privacy, procurement, risk, and business leaders to securely enable AI adoption.
