Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. is seeking a Senior Director AI Security to establish and mature the enterprise AI Security program. This role reports to the Chief Information Security Officer and leads governance, risk management, and secure adoption of AI technologies across the company.

You will recruit and lead a team of AI security architects, engineers, and specialists, coordinating with Legal, Privacy, Technology, Procurement, and business leaders to ensure secure and responsible AI deployment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/Info Security/Engineering or related field.
• 10+ years in progressive cybersecurity leadership.
• 3+ years designing and securing AI/ML.
• 2+ years AWS, GCP, and/or Azure security configuration.
• 2+ years in application security with an emphasis on AI/ML.
• 5+ years leading security architecture or engineering teams.
• CISSP required upon hire.
• Knowledge of NIST RMF/CSF and ISO standards.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute enterprise AI Security strategy and roadmap.
• Establish AI security standards, reference architectures, and secure development requirements for AI.
• Lead AI security risk management including model governance and regulatory compliance.
• Build and lead the AI Security organization, budgeting and operations.
• Partner with executives to securely enable enterprise AI adoption.
• Oversee AI security reviews and assessments for AI initiatives.
• Monitor AI threats and regulatory developments to adjust strategy.
