Job summary

CNA Insurance seeks a senior Developer Experience platform engineer to design, build, and operate an AI-native SDLC platform across five capability domains. You will lead CI/CD/CT workflows, AI agentic patterns, and security-focused tooling to accelerate deployment across engineering teams.

With 7+ years in platform engineering, you will mentor engineers, partner with security and product teams, and own end-to-end pipelines from template to pre-production in a fast-paced enterprise setting.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in platform engineering with enterprise CI/CD ownership.
• Hands-on with AI coding tools (Claude Code, Cursor, GitHub Copilot) in AI-native SDLC.

Responsibilities

• Own and evolve the Internal Developer Platform (IDP) for self-service catalog and golden-path workflows.
• Architect and own CI/CD/CT pipelines across GitHub Actions, ArgoCD and Harness.
• Design and build AI agentic SDLC workflows for autonomous code generation, PR review, and test authoring.
• Implement evaluation frameworks for agentic systems and guardrails for safe AI within SDLC.
• Drive SBOM generation and supply-chain security integration in delivery pipelines.
• Maintain container base images and starter app templates for AI-assisted development.
• Operate feature flags and progressive-delivery platforms and define safe rollout strategies.
• Embed observability into platform services and instrument DORA metrics and dashboards.
• Mentor engineers and collaborate with security, infrastructure, and product teams.
