Job summary

AlphaSense in the United States seeks a Principal Engineer in Developer Experience to shape a holistic DX strategy across the organization, uniting Core DX and Cloud/Platform DX under one umbrella.

You will drive AI-enabled SDLC adoption, define productivity metrics, mentor engineers, and partner with SRE and platform teams to deliver reliable, scalable developer tooling and self-service capabilities.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in DevEx, platform engineering, and large-scale engineering systems.
• Proven ability to define and drive cross-organizational technical strategy.
• Experience enabling self-service developer tooling and internal platforms.
• Strong communication and leadership across engineering and leadership levels.
• Experience with AI-enabled development workflows.

Responsibilities

• Define and evolve the DevEx strategy across the org.
• Align Core DX and Cloud/Platform DX initiatives.
• Standardize developer productivity metrics and engineering insights.
• Drive CI/CD reliability and fast, predictable delivery.
• Lead adoption of AI-enabled SDLC practices.
• Mentor engineers and partner with SRE/Platform teams.
