Job summary

S&P Global seeks a senior technology leader to define and drive the Enterprise Developer Experience strategy, owning the end-to-end lifecycle of development platforms and tools. You will partner with CIO leadership, divisional CTOs, and executive sponsors to align enterprise standards with engineering needs and deliver scalable, AI-enabled developer experiences.

Qualifications

Proven enterprise technology leader with experience building and operating large-scale developer platforms and enablement functions.
Experience with decision rights over tooling and standardization across divisions.
Strong executive communication and stakeholder management to translate tech complexity into business outcomes.

Responsibilities

Set and lead the enterprise Developer Experience strategy, vision, roadmap, operating model, and investment priorities.
Own the full lifecycle of enterprise software development platforms and tools, including source control, CI/CD, dev environments, and security tooling.
Manage the toolchain as a portfolio with clear outcomes, SLAs, adoption goals, and cost transparency.
Build partnerships with divisional CTOs and embedded practitioners to align standards with engineering needs.
Consolidate tooling, licenses, and processes to reduce duplication without disrupting delivery.
Establish scalable developer support, self-service portals, onboarding, and license management.
Own developer advocacy and community, including onboarding and feedback loops to drive adoption.
Define and govern AI-native and agentic software engineering practices, guardrails, and model access.
Create enterprise measurement for developer productivity and experience (DORA metrics, sentiment, ROI).
Lead a global organization across platform engineering, product management, developer support, data & analytics, and AI engineering.
