Job summary

Elastic, the Search AI Company, is seeking a Senior Software Engineer for the Security EDR Workflows team. You will design and build workflows and user-facing capabilities that connect Elastic Defend agent with the UI to protect and respond to security threats.

You will develop scalable systems, own the reliability of features, and write production-grade code in Typescript/Node JS, collaborating with security and product teams worldwide.

Qualifications

• Solid programming experience in Typescript/Node JS and React JS.
• Ability to take ownership of problems end-to-end from requirements to production.
• Strong communication skills and ability to explain complex topics.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement features powering Elastic Defend user interface capabilities.
• Build and evolve APIs for Elastic Defend data interactions.
• Contribute to architecture of Elastic Defend management and response actions with OSquery forensics capabilities.
• Develop scalable, high-performance systems within the Elastic ecosystem.
• Own reliability, observability and health of features from design to production.
• Write production-grade code in Typescript/Node JS (and potentially other languages).
• Collaborate with other Elastic engineering teams on cross-team projects.
• Contribute to engineering standards, tooling and processes driven by AI usage.
• Participate in code reviews and design decisions.
