Elastic is seeking a Senior Software Engineer for the Security EDR Workflows team to design and build workflows and user-facing capabilities for Elastic Defend. You will collaborate with product and design to deliver robust, high-scale features used by security practitioners around the world.

You will write production-grade code in TypeScript/Node.js, tackle API design, and contribute to the architecture of the management and response actions framework, with an emphasis on reliability and

Qualifications

• Experience with Typescript/Node.js and React.js.
• Ability to take ownership of problems end-to-end, from requirements to production.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement features powering Elastic Defend UI capabilities.
• Build and evolve APIs for interaction with Elastic Defend data.
• Contribute to the architecture of Elastic Defend management and response actions framework.
• Develop scalable, high-performance systems within the Elastic ecosystem.
• Own reliability, observability and operational health of features from design to production.
• Write production-grade code in TS/Node.js (and potentially other languages).
• Collaborate with other Elastic teams on cross-team efforts.
• Improve engineering standards, tooling and processes driven by AI usage.
• Participate in code reviews and technical design decisions.
