Job summary

Elastic, the Search AI Company, is looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join the Security EDR Workflows team. You will design and build workflows and user-facing capabilities that power Elastic Defend agent, helping protect and respond to security threats at scale.

You will collaborate with security engineers, product and design, own features from design to production, and write production-grade TypeScript/NodeJS code within a high-performance, AI-augmented environment.

Qualifications

• Strong TS/NodeJS and ReactJS experience.
• Ability to own features end-to-end from design to production.
• Experience using AI to augment development work.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement features powering Elastic Defend UI.
• Build and evolve APIs for Elastic Defend data.
• Contribute to architecture of Defend management and OSquery forensics.
• Develop scalable, high-performance systems within Elastic ecosystem.
• Ensure reliability, observability, and operational health from design to production.
• Write production-grade code in TS/NodeJS (and related languages).
• Collaborate with cross-team engineering initiatives.
