EY is seeking senior engineers for the Advanced Forward Engineering team within the Office of the CTO. You will design, build, and deliver AI-native systems embedded with regulated client environments, owning end-to-end delivery from shaping through production.

Qualifications

• 5+ years delivering complex software in enterprise or regulated environments.
• Experience in customer-facing or consulting engineering roles.
• Hands-on experience building and deploying distributed systems, APIs, integrations, or data-intensive applications.
• Practical experience with modern AI stacks (LLM-backed systems, agentic workflows).
• Proven track record owning delivery in real-world conditions.
• Experience writing production-grade code under compliance, performance, and reliability constraints.
• Ability to work with engineering, architecture, security, and governance teams.

Responsibilities

• Embed with client teams to frame problems and define delivery paths under regulatory constraints.
• Own end-to-end delivery from shaping to deployment and early sustainment.
• Implement AI-enabled workflows, agentic systems, and orchestration with approved templates.
• Write and review production-quality code aligned with enterprise standards.
• Balance functionality, safety, cost, and timeline; explain decisions to stakeholders.
• Ensure solutions meet security, AI integrity, and FinOps constraints with control authorities.
• Capture field learnings and feedback to improve platform evolution.
• Collaborate with integration, platform, and architecture teams to reduce rework.
