Job summary

EY is seeking senior engineers for the Advanced Forward Engineering team in the Office of the CTO. You will design, build, and deliver AI-native systems embedded with strategic clients in highly regulated environments, owning end-to-end delivery from shaping to production.

This role blends hands-on engineering with architectural leadership, working closely with platform, security, and governance partners to ensure auditable, trusted deployments.

Qualifications

• 5+ years delivering complex software in enterprise/reg environments.
• Customer-facing or consulting engineering experience.
• Hands-on with distributed systems, APIs, integrations.
• Experience with modern AI stacks (LLM-backed, agentic workflows).
• Proven delivery ownership in real-world conditions.
• Production-grade code in compliant, performant systems.
• Ability to collaborate with engineering, architecture, security, governance.

Responsibilities

• Embed directly with client teams to frame problems and define delivery paths under regulatory constraints.
• Own end‑to‑end delivery outcomes from shaping through deployment and sustainment.
• Implement and manage AI-enabled workflows, agentic systems, and integrations.
• Write and review production-quality code aligned with enterprise standards.
• Make real-time delivery tradeoffs balancing functionality, safety, cost, and timeline.
• Ensure solutions comply with security, AI integrity, and FinOps constraints.
• Capture field learnings and contribute to platform evolution.
• Collaborate with integration, platform, and architecture teams to reduce rework.
