Job summary

EY is seeking senior engineers for the Advanced Forward Engineering team in the Office of the CTO to embed with clients and deliver AI-native systems in highly regulated environments.

You will own end-to-end delivery from problem framing to deployment, write production-quality code with LangGraph and Python, and collaborate with platform, architecture, security, and governance teams to ensure safe, auditable solutions.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering complex software systems in enterprise or regulated environments.
• Customer-facing or consulting engineering experience.
• Hands-on experience with distributed systems, APIs, integrations, or data-intensive apps.
• Practical experience with AI application stacks (LLMs, agentic workflows).
• Proven track record owning delivery in real-world conditions.
• Production-grade code in compliance, performance, and reliability constraints.
• Ability to work across engineering, architecture, security, and governance teams.

Responsibilities

• Embed with client teams to frame problems and define delivery paths under regulatory constraints.
• Own end-to-end delivery from shaping through deployment and sustainment.
• Implement and manage AI-enabled workflows and integrations using platform capabilities.
• Write and review production-quality code aligned with enterprise standards.
• Make real-time tradeoffs balancing functionality, safety, cost, and timelines.
• Ensure solutions meet security, AI integrity, and governance requirements.
• Capture field learnings and feedback to improve platform evolution.
• Collaborate with integration, platform, and architecture teams to enable repeatable delivery patterns.
