Job summary

EY is seeking senior engineers for its Advanced Forward Engineering team, embedded with strategic clients to design, build, and deliver AI-native systems in regulated environments such as tax, finance, and risk.

You will own end-to-end delivery, write production-grade code, and collaborate with platform, architecture, security, and governance partners to ensure solutions are deployable, auditable, and trusted in production.

Qualifications

• 5+ years delivering complex software in enterprise or regulated environments.
• Experience in customer-facing or consulting engineering roles.
• Hands-on experience building and deploying distributed systems and data-intensive applications.
• Practical experience with modern AI stacks (LLMs, agentic workflows, orchestration).
• Proven track record owning real-world delivery.
• Production-grade code that operates under compliance and reliability constraints.
• Ability to collaborate across engineering, architecture, security and governance.

Responsibilities

• Embed with client teams to frame problems and define delivery paths under regulatory constraints.
• Own end-to-end delivery outcomes from shaping through deployment and sustainment.
• Implement AI-enabled workflows and integrations using approved platform capabilities.
• Write and review production-quality code aligned with enterprise standards.
• Make real-time tradeoffs balancing functionality, safety, cost, and timeline.
• Ensure solutions comply with security, AI integrity, and governance constraints.
• Capture learnings and drive improvements for platform evolution.
• Collaborate with integration, platform, and architecture teams to enable repeatable delivery.
