Job summary

EY is seeking a senior engineer to join the Advanced Forward Engineering team within the Office of the CTO. You will design, build, and deliver AI-native systems embedded with client teams in regulated environments such as tax, finance, and risk, owning end-to-end delivery and production-grade code.

Ideal candidates will have 5+ years delivering complex enterprise software, with hands-on experience in AI stacks, API integrations, and orchestration frameworks, and the ability to interact with

Qualifications

• 5+ years delivering complex software in enterprise/regulatory environments
• Customer-facing or consulting engineering experience
• Hands-on experience building and deploying distributed systems, APIs, integrations, or data-intensive apps
• Practical experience with AI stacks (LLMs, agentic workflows, orchestration)
• Proven delivery ownership in real-world conditions
• Production-grade code under compliance, performance, and reliability constraints
• Ability to collaborate with engineering, architecture, security, and governance teams

Responsibilities

• Embed with client teams to frame problems and define delivery paths under regulatory constraints
• Own end-to-end delivery from shaping to deployment and sustainment
• Implement and manage AI-enabled workflows and integrations using platform templates
• Write/Review production-grade code (LangGraph, Python) aligned with enterprise standards
• Balance functionality, safety, cost, and timelines with stakeholder explanations
• Ensure solutions comply with security, AI integrity, and FinOps constraints
• Capture learnings and feedback to improve platform evolution
• Collaborate with integration, platform, and architecture teams to enable repeatable delivery patterns
