Job summary

EY’s Advanced Forward Engineering team seeks senior engineers to design, build, and deliver AI-native systems inside highly regulated client environments such as tax, finance, and risk. You will own end-to-end delivery from shaping to deployment while writing production-grade code and collaborating across security, governance, and platform teams.

The role emphasizes pragmatic tradeoffs, edge client embedding, and delivering auditable, trusted production solutions in a fast-evolving AI landscape.

Qualifications

• 5+ years delivering complex software in enterprise or regulated environments.
• Hands-on experience building distributed systems, APIs, integrations, or data-intensive apps.
• Proven track record owning delivery in real-world conditions.
• Experience with modern AI stacks (LLM-backed systems, agentic workflows).

Responsibilities

• Embed with client teams to frame problems under regulatory constraints.
• Own end-to-end delivery from shaping to deployment and sustainment.
• Implement AI-enabled workflows and orchestration.
• Write production-grade code aligned with delivery standards.
• Explain tradeoffs to stakeholders with clear rationale.
• Ensure security, AI integrity, and FinOps compliance.
• Capture field learnings and contribute to platform evolution.
• Collaborate with platform, architecture, and governance teams to reduce rework.
