Job summary

EY is seeking senior engineers for the Advanced Forward Engineering team to design, build, and deliver AI-native systems embedded with client environments, ensuring deployable, auditable solutions in regulated settings. You will own end-to-end delivery, write production-grade code, and collaborate across platform, security, and governance teams.

The role emphasizes direct client engagement, pragmatic tradeoffs, and driving platform evolution while balancing safety, cost, and timelines.

Qualifications

• 5+ years delivering complex software in regulated environments.
• Hands-on experience building distributed systems and APIs.
• Experience with AI application stacks and agentic workflows.
• Proven delivery ownership in real client engagements.
• Ability to work with security, governance, and architecture teams.
• Excellent client-facing communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Embed with client teams to frame problems under regulatory constraints.
• Own end-to-end delivery from shaping to sustainment.
• Implement AI-enabled workflows and orchestration.
• Write production-quality code (LangGraph, Python, integrations).
• Balance functionality, safety, cost, and timelines; justify decisions.
• Ensure security, AI integrity, and FinOps compliance.
• Capture field learnings to improve platform evolution.
• Collaborate with integration, platform, and architecture teams.
