EY’s Office of the CTO is seeking senior engineers to design, build, and deliver AI-native systems embedded with client environments. You will own delivery outcomes from initial shaping to deployment, balancing regulatory constraints with pragmatic engineering execution.

This role emphasizes producing production-grade code, collaborating with security, governance, and platform teams, and shaping trusted, auditable solutions in regulated settings.

Qualifications

• 5+ years delivering complex software in enterprise or regulated environments.
• Hands-on experience building and deploying distributed systems, APIs, integrations, or data-intensive applications.
• Proven track record owning delivery in real-world conditions.
• Experience with modern AI stacks (LLMs, agentic workflows, orchestration frameworks).
• Experience writing production-grade code that operates under compliance, performance, and reliability constraints.
• Ability to work with engineering, architecture, security, and governance teams.

Responsibilities

• Embed directly with client teams to frame problems and define delivery paths under regulatory constraints.
• Own end-to-end delivery outcomes from shaping through deployment and sustainment.
• Implement and manage AI-enabled workflows, agentic systems, and integrations using approved templates.
• Write and review production-quality code (LangGraph, Python) aligned with enterprise standards.
• Make real-time delivery tradeoffs balancing functionality, safety, and cost, and explain decisions to stakeholders.
• Ensure solutions meet security, AI integrity, and FinOps constraints with approvals.
• Capture field learnings and feedback to improve platform evolution.
• Collaborate with integration, platform, and architecture teams to reduce rework.
