Job summary

EY’s Office of the CTO is seeking senior engineers to embed with strategic clients to design, build, and deploy AI-native systems in highly regulated environments such as tax, finance and risk. Your role combines end-to-end delivery ownership with hands-on engineering, writing production‑quality code and collaborating with platform, security and governance teams to ensure auditable, trusted deployments.

Qualifications

• 5+ years delivering complex software systems in enterprise or regulated environments.
• Experience in customer-facing or consulting engineering roles.
• Hands-on experience building and deploying distributed systems, APIs, integrations, or data-intensive applications.
• Practical experience with modern AI application stacks (e.g., LLM-backed systems, agentic workflows, orchestration frameworks).
• Proven track record owning delivery in real-world conditions.
• Production-grade code under compliance, performance, and reliability constraints.

Responsibilities

• Embed with client teams to frame problems under regulatory constraints.
• Own end-to-end delivery from shaping to deployment and sustainment.
• Implement AI-enabled workflows and agentic systems using approved platforms.
• Write production-quality code (LangGraph, Python; integration layers).
• Balance functionality, safety, cost, and timelines with clear stakeholder communication.
• Ensure solutions meet security, AI integrity and FinOps constraints.
