Job summary

EY is seeking a Manager in AI Native Engineering to lead delivery of cutting‑edge AI/ML solutions for Power & Utilities clients. You will collaborate with diverse teams and clients to design scalable AI systems, enhance data pipelines, and drive analytics across cloud and on‑prem environments.

You will guide teams, mentor engineers, and ensure solutions meet regulatory, cybersecurity, and data governance standards while delivering measurable business outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required (4‑year degree).
• 6–10 years of experience in AI, Data Science and/or ML.
• 2–4 years of experience directly managing technical teams.
• Strong Python skills and cloud platform experience for production AI/ML.
• Proficient in Generative AI models/frameworks (e.g., OpenAI, DALL‑E, Langchain).
• Extensive DevOps experience (Git, Azure DevOps), Agile methodologies (Jira).
• Experience with MLOps, CI/CD pipelines and model monitoring.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills; willingness to travel.

Responsibilities

• Lead workstreams and manage processes and projects end‑to‑end.
• Engage with clients and senior stakeholders to deliver AI/Data solutions.
• Translate regulated priorities into scalable AI solutions for Power & Utilities.
• Design and deliver AI/ML use cases such as predictive maintenance, outage forecasting, and regulatory analytics.
• Work with data sources (SCADA, GIS, EAM, OMS, CIS) and modern analytics platforms.
• Support production deployment of AI solutions with governance and security considerations.
