Job summary

EY is seeking a Manager in AI Native Engineering to lead delivery of advanced data science and software solutions for Power & Utilities clients. You will oversee teams, drive innovation, and collaborate with diverse stakeholders across a technology landscape, including cloud platforms.

You will translate complex analytics into actionable business insights, ensuring governance, security, and regulatory alignment while delivering high-value outcomes for clients and continued career development

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required (4-year degree).
• 6–10 years of relevant experience in AI, Data Science, and/or Machine Learning.
• 2–4 years of experience directly managing technical teams.
• Strong skills in Python.
• Ability to lead, collaborate, and communicate effectively with diverse, hybrid and global teams.
• Experience designing, building, and maintaining production AI/ML solutions on a major cloud platform.
• Familiarity with Generative AI models and frameworks (OpenAI, Dall‑e, Langchain, RAG) and ML packages like scikit‑learn and PyTorch.
• Experience with NLP and deep learning.
• Experience with DevOps tools (Git, Azure DevOps), Agile methodologies (Jira), and CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience with MLOps and ML workflows, data ingestion, transformation, and evaluation.
• Model retraining and feedback loop methodologies; monitoring and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Lead workstreams and ensure effective project delivery.
• Identify innovative solutions through research and analysis.
• Supervise teams to deliver complex technical initiatives.
• Engage with clients and lead sessions from planning to closure.
• Identify opportunities for additional services and manage engagement economics.
• Design and deliver AI/ML use cases for utilities, including forecasting and asset health.
• Work with utility data sources (SCADA, GIS, Maximo, OMS, CIS) and integrate into analytics platforms.
• Support moving AI solutions from pilots to production with regulatory and governance alignment.
