Job summary

EY in the United States seeks a Manager in AI Native Engineering to deliver scalable AI/ML solutions for Power & Utilities. You will lead cross-functional teams, work with diverse clients, and translate analytics into actionable insights while maintaining governance and risk controls.

You will collaborate with data engineers, software developers, and business leaders to drive value, improve operating models, and support regulated environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required (4-year degree).
• 6-10 years of relevant experience in AI, Data Science, and/or Machine Learning.
• 2-4 years of experience directly managing technical teams.
• Strong skills in Python.
• Experience designing, building, and maintaining production AI/ML solutions on a major cloud platform.
• Experience with MLOps and ML workflows, including data ingestion, transformation, and evaluation.

Responsibilities

• Lead workstream delivery and ensure effective management of processes and projects.
• Continuously improve processes by identifying innovative solutions through research and analysis.
• Manage professional employees and supervise teams to deliver complex technical initiatives.
• Engage with clients, participate in daily sessions, and lead workstreams from planning through execution to closure.
• Identify opportunities for additional services and manage engagement economics.
• Design and deliver AI/ML use cases relevant to Power & Utilities.
• Work with utility data sources (SCADA, GIS, AMI, OMS) and integrate into modern analytics platforms.
• Support utilities in moving AI solutions from pilots to production with governance and compliance requirements.
