Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
• 9–12+ years of relevant experience.
• Substantial experience with data, information, solution, or platform architecture and ownership of production AI, search, or knowledge systems.

Responsibilities

• Set the knowledge direction and own target architecture for knowledge, retrieval, and grounding in AI products.
• Design federated memory architectures with durable interfaces and clear lifecycle expectations.
• Translate business questions with domain experts to define concepts, relationships, and boundaries for AI systems.
• Engineer trusted ingestion, shaping reusable patterns for diverse sources while preserving authority and provenance.
• Build effective retrieval using search, semantic, graph, and structured methods with clear trade-offs.
• Make evidence inspectable with citations, provenance, and quality signals for informed trust.
• Embed policy in the path by coordinating with security, privacy, records, and legal teams.
• Lead lighthouse implementations from prototype to production to demonstrate a scalable path.
• Define service objectives, observability, incident learning, and quality measures post-launch.
• Create reference components and onboarding practices; mentor engineers and guide architecture decisions.
