Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
• 9–12+ years of relevant experience.
• Substantial architecture experience across data/information/solution/platform domains.
• Experience delivering knowledge/search/graph/grounded‑AI across org boundaries.
• Hands-on fluency with semantic/graph/retrieval technologies; strong SQL.
• Experience designing pipelines with production controls.
• Policy‑aware architecture: provenance, quality, access, lifecycle controls.
• Cross‑functional leadership to guide engineering and risk teams.
• Willingness to travel up to 50% and work in a hybrid office.

Responsibilities

• Set the knowledge direction; own target architecture, roadmap, and decision principles for knowledge, retrieval, and grounding for AI products.
• Design organizational memory with a federated approach and durable interfaces.
• Translate business questions with domain experts to define concepts and boundaries for AI interpretation.
• Engineer trusted ingestion; create reusable patterns preserving authority, lineage, and uncertainty.
• Build effective retrieval using search, semantic, graph, and structured methods with trade-off visibility.
• Make evidence inspectable by including citations, provenance, and quality signals.
• Embed policy in the path with security, privacy, retention, and deletion requirements.
• Prove the architecture by leading lighthouse implementations from prototype to production.
• Define service objectives, observability, and incident learning to keep knowledge capabilities reliable.
• Build shared capability; mentor engineers, and guide cross‑functional architecture decisions.
