Job summary

Google Cloud is seeking a Customer Engineer to partner with technical Sales teams and differentiate Google Cloud for our customers. You will serve as the customer’s primary technical partner, architect cross-pillar cloud solutions, and drive technical wins.

You will engage with technical and business leaders, deliver demos, and craft delivery and consumption plans. You will leverage expertise in AI infrastructure, machine learning model development, and high-performance computing to address

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 10 years of experience with cloud native architecture in a customer-facing or support role.
• Experience engaging with, or presenting to, technical stakeholders or executive leaders.
• Experience with machine learning (ML) model development and deployment.
• Active US Government Top Secret/Sensitive Compartmentalized Information (TS/SCI) security clearance with polygraph.
• Ability to travel up to 20% of the time.

• Build a trusted advisory relationship with customer architects, engineering leadership, and research teams.
• Provide domain expertise around hardware accelerators (GPU/TPU) and prevailing ML Frameworks.
• Make recommendations on GPU/TPU hardware, framework selection, benchmarks, and model-building requirements.
• Manage the holistic research engineering relationship with customers across multiple teams.
