Job summary

Google Cloud is seeking Solutions Engineers for AI Infrastructure to own complex customer issues and provide specialized support across teams. You will troubleshoot hardware and software problems, diagnose AI/ML workloads, and help resolve deployment obstacles to ensure successful AI deployments.

You will work with AI hardware, software stacks, and documentation updates, while collaborating with Engineering and Product teams to drive improvements and deliver enterprise-grade AI solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics, or equivalent practical experience.
• Experience reading and debugging code in languages such as Java, C, C++, Python, Go or JavaScript, and in virtualization and orchestration frameworks.
• Experience triaging technical issues across the stack (hardware, software, networking, virtualization, kernel drivers, firmware, performance).
• System administrator level experience with Linux/Unix and debugging on enterprise-grade server infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and resolve customer issues on AI/ML infrastructure.
• Understand AI/ML workloads and underlying hardware architecture; build tools for faster diagnosis.
• Advise internal stakeholders to resolve deployment and operational obstacles.
• Collaborate with Product and Engineering to improve the product and tools with SRE involvement.
• Be available for non-standard work hours including weekends as needed.
