Job summary

EY seeks senior engineers for its Advanced Forward Engineering team to design, build, and deploy AI-native systems in highly regulated client environments, including tax, finance, and risk. You’ll own delivery outcomes and serve as the technical authority on forward-deployed engagements.

Roles embed with client teams, balancing pragmatic tradeoffs and ensuring solutions are deployable, auditable, and trusted in production.

Qualifications

• 5+ years delivering complex software in enterprise or regulated environments.
• Hands-on experience building and deploying distributed systems, APIs, integrations, or data-intensive apps.
• Practical experience with modern AI application stacks (LLMs, agentic workflows, orchestration).
• Proven track record owning delivery in real-world conditions.

Responsibilities

• Embed directly with client teams to frame problems and define delivery paths under regulatory constraints.
• Own end-to-end delivery for engagements from shaping to deployment and sustainment.
• Implement and manage AI-enabled workflows and integrations using platform capabilities.
• Write production-grade code aligned with enterprise delivery standards (e.g., Python, LangGraph).
• Explain trade-offs to stakeholders and ensure security, AI integrity, and regulatory compliance.
