Job summary

EY is seeking senior engineers for the Advanced Forward Engineering team to design, build, and deliver AI-native systems in highly regulated client environments. These roles embed with client teams, own end-to-end delivery, and serve as the technical and outcomes authority for forward-deployed engagements.

You will write production-grade code, balance functionality and safety, and collaborate with platform, architecture, security, and governance partners to deploy auditable, trusted solutions.

Qualifications

• 5+ years delivering complex software systems in enterprise or regulated environments.
• Experience in customer-facing or consulting engineering roles.
• Hands-on experience with distributed systems, APIs, integrations, or data-intensive apps.
• Proven track record owning delivery in real-world conditions.
• Production-grade code operating under compliance, performance, and reliability constraints.

Responsibilities

• Embed with client teams to frame problems under regulatory constraints.
• Own end-to-end delivery from shaping through deployment and sustainment.
• Implement and manage AI-enabled workflows and orchestration logic.
• Write and review production-quality code aligned with enterprise standards.
• Explain delivery tradeoffs to stakeholders clearly.
• Ensure solutions comply with security, AI integrity, and FinOps constraints.
• Capture field learnings and feedback to improve platform evolution.
• Collaborate with integration, platform, and architecture teams to enable repeatable delivery patterns.
