Job summary

EY is seeking senior engineers for the Advanced Forward Engineering team to design, build, and deliver AI-native systems in highly regulated environments. You will own end-to-end delivery, embed with client teams, and ensure solutions are auditable and trusted in production.

The role combines hands-on engineering with delivery leadership, collaborating across platform, architecture, security, and governance. Experience in regulated industries and production-grade code is essential.

Qualifications

• 5+ years delivering complex software in enterprise or regulated environments.
• Experience in customer-facing or consulting engineering roles.
• Hands-on experience building distributed systems, APIs, integrations, or data-intensive applications.
• Practical experience with modern AI application stacks (LLM-backed systems, agentic workflows, orchestration frameworks).
• Proven track record owning delivery in real-world conditions.
• Experience writing production-grade code under compliance, performance and reliability constraints.

Responsibilities

• Embed directly with client teams to frame problems and define delivery paths under regulatory constraints.
• Own end-to-end delivery outcomes from shaping through deployment and sustainment.
• Implement and manage AI-enabled workflows and integrations using platform capabilities.
• Write and review production-quality code (e.g., LangGraph, Python) aligned with enterprise standards.
• Make real-time delivery tradeoffs balancing functionality, safety, cost, and timelines.
• Ensure solutions comply with security, AI integrity, and FinOps constraints.
