Job summary

EY is seeking senior engineers to join the Advanced Forward Engineering team, embedding with clients to design, build, and deliver AI-native systems in regulated environments. You will own end-to-end delivery from problem framing to production, balancing tradeoffs and ensuring auditable, trusted solutions.

This role combines hands-on engineering with delivery leadership, collaborating with platform, security, and governance teams to drive real business impact across client engagements.

Qualifications

• 5+ years delivering complex software in enterprise or regulated environments.
• Experience in customer-facing or consulting engineering roles.
• Hands-on building and deploying distributed systems, APIs, integrations, or data-intensive apps.
• Practical experience with modern AI stacks (LLM-backed systems, agentic workflows).
• Proven track record owning delivery in real-world conditions.
• Production-grade code under compliance, performance and reliability constraints.
• Ability to collaborate with engineering, architecture, security, and governance teams.

Responsibilities

• Embed with client teams to frame problems and define delivery paths under regulatory constraints.
• Own end-to-end delivery from shaping through deployment and sustainment.
• Implement and manage AI-enabled workflows and integrations using platform capabilities.
• Write production-quality code aligned with enterprise standards (LangGraph, Python).
• Make real-time tradeoffs balancing functionality, safety, cost and timeline.
