Job summary

EY is seeking an experienced Senior Consultant in AI Governance & Responsible AI, based in New York or anywhere in the country. You will assess AI governance maturity, design control frameworks, and implement governance across AI lifecycles and platforms, collaborating with risk, legal, and engineering teams.

You will lead workshops, drive targeting roadmaps, and mentor junior staff while traveling as needed to meet client demands.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
• Demonstrated experience in AI governance, Responsible AI, and risk management with hands‑on implementation.
• Hands‑on experience configuring governance, monitoring, or access controls in cloud/ERP environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead governance assessments and target‑state design for AI governance and technology policies.
• Design and implement Responsible AI control frameworks and evidence standards.
• Deploy governance controls across AI lifecycle, including MLOps/LLMOps and CI/CD pipelines with governance gates.
• Configure AI governance, data governance, and GRC platforms for inventories, model registries, and lineage.
• Embed controls into CI/CD and cloud environments to enforce governance by design.
• Collaborate with clients and stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable technical solutions.
• Foster client relationships and mentor junior team members.
