Job summary

Genesys is seeking an Experience Acceleration Sr. Architect to lead hands-on development and technical architecture for AI-powered customer experiences.

You will design and build solutions using Genesys Cloud, APIs, SDKs, and modern frameworks, translating business needs into scalable software with pace and rigor. You will collaborate across product, engineering, sales, and enablement, driving reusable patterns and AI-assisted development throughout the lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Hands-on development with JavaScript/TypeScript or Python.
• Experience designing and building apps, integrations, and AI-powered solutions.
• Experience with REST APIs, authentication/OAuth, JSON, and Git/version control.
• Ability to own technical work from requirements to deployment and documentation.
• Experience creating reusable components and scalable architectures.
• Familiarity with AI-assisted development and LLMs.
• Strong English communication and ability to translate tech concepts for stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Own technical solutions from problem definition through development, testing, deployment, and iteration.
• Design, build, test, and iterate on AI and Agentic Virtual Agent experiences in Genesys Cloud.
• Build apps, integrations, prototypes, and automation using Genesys Cloud APIs and SDKs.
• Design AI-powered solutions using LLMs, tool calling, grounding, and orchestration.
• Create reusable components, frameworks, and reference architectures.
• Apply AI-first development practices across design, coding, testing, and documentation.
• Translate business and customer problems into technical requirements and tradeoffs.
