Iterable, a leading AI-powered customer engagement platform, seeks a Senior Engineering Manager to lead frontend, backend, and applied engineering teams building agentic, AI-enabled product experiences within the Nova initiative. You will set technical vision, drive roadmaps, and align product, platform, and data science to deliver scalable, secure enterprise features.

Strong leadership, architectural judgment, and executive communication are essential.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of hands-on software development experience.
• 5+ years of experience managing, scaling, and leading software engineering teams.
• Strong background in application or platform engineering, with a proven track record of scaling SaaS systems.
• Experience leading teams that integrate AI/ML-powered capabilities into production systems.
• Demonstrated expertise at the intersection of product, platform, and data science teams.
• Excellent executive communication skills and ability to map technical work to business goals.

Responsibilities

• Lead and scale multiple engineering teams building AI-enabled product experiences.
• Define technical roadmap and translate AI capabilities into scalable user-facing features.
• Drive architecture for agent workflows, orchestration logic, and integrations.
• Ensure reliability, observability, security for enterprise-scale production use.
• Mentor senior engineers and engineering managers, fostering inclusive culture.
• Collaborate with principal engineers, data teams, and platform groups to align on interfaces.
