Job summary

Iterable is seeking a Senior Engineering Manager to lead backend, frontend, and applied engineers, delivering AI-powered capabilities across the core Iterable application. You will guide architectural direction, drive roadmaps, and mentor a growing team while aligning with Product, Design, and Data Science to achieve scalable, reliable experiences.

You will champion engineering excellence, manage cross-functional initiatives, and help shape enterprise-grade features in a fast-moving product area

Qualifications

• 8+ years hands-on software development experience.
• 5+ years managing, scaling, and leading software engineering teams.
• Experience leading teams that integrate AI/ML-powered capabilities into production systems.
• Demonstrated expertise in aligning product, platform, and data science teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead and scale multiple engineering teams building AI-enabled product experiences.
• Define the technical roadmap with Product, Design, and Data Science leadership.
• Drive architecture for agent workflows, orchestration logic, and integrations.
• Establish standards to ensure AI-powered features are reliable, observable, secure, and enterprise-ready.
• Coach, mentor, and sponsor senior engineers and engineering managers.
