Job summary

Premera Blue Cross is seeking an AI Engineer IV to lead AI/ML initiatives from ideation to production. You will mentor engineers, supervise model deployment, and shape cloud architectures for large AI systems while upholding governance and data quality.

You will collaborate with stakeholders, design scalable data pipelines, and implement robust monitoring for reliable AI services in a remote work setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or 2+ years in a related IT/analytics role.
• 5+ years deploying AI/ML systems in production.
• 3+ years with explainable AI, fairness, and bias mitigation.
• 4+ years building scalable data pipelines and monitoring.

Responsibilities

• Lead AI/ML solution ideation from conception to production.
• Mentor junior engineers and guide best practices in AI/ML.
• Design cloud architecture for large AI systems and data pipelines.
• Develop low-latency APIs and services for AI model deployment.
• Ensure governance, data quality, and robust monitoring.
