Job summary

Premera Blue Cross is seeking an AI Engineer IV to lead the design, development, and deployment of advanced AI/ML systems. You will guide complex problem solving, prototype new AI products, and mentor junior engineers while aligning with governance and data quality standards.

You’ll design scalable data pipelines, low-latency APIs, and cloud architectures, ensuring reliable productionization of models in a remote work environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in AI/ML, deploying and maintaining models
• Experience mentoring engineers and leading initiatives
• Strong software engineering and cloud architecture skills

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership in delivering AI/ML solutions from conception to production.
• Guide solutioning, ideation, prototyping and deployment of AI products.
• Design data pipelines, low-latency APIs, and monitoring for AI systems.
• Mentor junior engineers and collaborate with stakeholders on roadmaps.
• Ensure governance, data quality and explainable AI practices.
